-
We begin with a conversation to get to know one another. You tell me what your goals are, e.g. “get better at setting boundaries”, or “improve communication in my relationship.” We do a self-discovery, and then use type insights and coaching to realize your goals.

With a lot of love and empathy, we go on a journey inside your head to find out who you are at your core. We then tease out what is learned behavior, and what is a reaction to pressure from around you. The framework we use to guide us is psychological type.

It’s a theory published in 1921 by Carl Jung. It describes eight ways (aka cognitive functions) how we use our brain to get energized, process information, and make decisions. These functions explain a lot about how we relate to ourselves and others, and how we make meaning of the world around us. It is my favorite lens to inform coaching approaches.

It’s a conversation between a trained professional and a client, where the coach asks questions and guides the client to activate the resources they have inside them. In this case, how to use their innate type preferences to their fullest advantage.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) is the most well-known questionnaire that helps visualize your type preferences. It is a rigorously developed instrument, and only available through licensed facilitators. I became a certified MBTI® Master Practitioner in 2010.
The MBTI® is a great tool, but not the only method to discover your type. We can also take a more holistic approach and have conversations using different type models.

I do! Happy to work with couples and polycules. The process is quite similar: we begin with a conversation where we discuss your goals. If applicable, I may then take all partners through a self-discovery process and use those insights as a lens to inform the coaching process.
